StoryWell is built for kids aged 3-12, but managed by adults. Parents and guardians stay in control of account settings, profile updates, and deletion requests.
What we collect
- Parent or guardian email for account access.
- Child name (or nickname) and age/date of birth.
- Generated stories and saved story history.
- Basic technical logs to keep the app secure and working.
Why we collect it
- To create stories at the right age and reading level.
- To keep StoryWell safe, stable, and available.
- To provide support if you contact us.
- To improve quality and fix issues.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not knowingly allow child self-signup without parent oversight.
- We do not use your data for unrelated third-party advertising sales.
Where data lives
Some data may stay on your device (such as local session content). Some data is stored in StoryWell service components so accounts and stories work across sessions.
Some providers may process data outside Australia to run the service.
Controls and deletion
Parents/guardians can ask to access, correct, or delete account and child profile data. We may verify identity first to protect your family.
